Château de la Neuville – a hotel in a listed château in Huy

See some photos of the château and the hotel

In the Meuse valley, two minutes from the historic centre of Huy, Château de la Neuville welcomes guests in a setting you won't forget. A listed château from the 18th century, seven hectares of parkland and fully renovated rooms.
Here you sleep surrounded by history, without giving up any of the comfort of a modern hotel.

A listed 18th-century château

As early as 1740, Saumery wrote in Les Délices du pays de Liège that this château was “rightly considered one of the finest to be seen from the Meuse”. The compliment still holds true today.
Listed as an architectural monument, our château has a French style rarely seen in the Meuse region: red brick and stone, ornate dormer windows, a main courtyard and fountain. It celebrated its 300th anniversary in 2008, and it has lost none of its presence.

A fully renovated, peaceful hotel

Corridors, lounges, bedrooms: everything has been fully renovated. Yet we have kept what gives the house its soul. The herringbone parquet, the wood panelling, the chandeliers and the grand oak staircase are all still here.
Two categories await you: our standard rooms, simple and comfortable, and our premium rooms, more spacious, under high moulded ceilings. You book directly with us, online or through our form, with no middleman.

Seven hectares of parkland and a greener château

The château is surrounded by seven hectares of wooded parkland. Perfect for a morning stroll, or simply for enjoying the peace and quiet when you return in the evening.
A three-hundred-year-old monument can also move with the times. Our wood-chip boiler saves us at least 30,000 litres of heating oil a year. Solar panels generate electricity on site, and charging points are available for electric vehicles.

Your hotel between Huy, Liège, Andenne and Hannut

Our hotel is in Tihange, part of the town of Huy. The historic centre is two minutes away, so a stroll, a visit or a meal in town is easy. Liège is about thirty kilometres away, with Andenne and Hannut close by. You will find our ideas for days out on the region page.
Holidaymakers, business travellers passing through, families visiting relatives: we will be delighted to welcome you to the château. A question or a special request? Write to us, or book directly online.
